How to Delete a Comment on TikTok
Press and hold the comment, then tap Delete. That works for any comment you wrote, and for any comment on your own video. On your own video you can also select up to 100 comments and delete them at once.

How do you delete a comment on TikTok?
In the TikTok app, for a comment you posted or any comment on your own post, per TikTok's comments help page:
- Open the video and tap the Comments button.
- Press and hold the comment.
- Tap Delete.

How do you delete many comments at once?
On your own video only:
- Open the Comments.
- Tap the Filters button at the top, or press and hold any comment and tap Manage multiple comments.
- Select up to 100 comments.
- Tap Delete and confirm.
Can you delete someone else's comment?
Only on your own video. On someone else's video you can delete your own comment and nothing else; the creator, in turn, can delete any comment on their video, yours included.
If a comment on another creator's video breaks the rules, report it to TikTok instead.
Can you get a deleted TikTok comment back?
Not that TikTok describes. Its help pages give no way to restore a deleted comment, so treat deleting as permanent. If you might need the comments later, for a giveaway record or a complaint, save a copy first: the TikTok comment exporter downloads a video's comments as a CSV. On a giveaway video, draw the winner with the comment picker before you clean anything up.
Deleting also does not undo a rule break. If a comment already earned a violation, deleting it does not remove the violation.
What about comments TikTok filtered for you?
If you use comment filters, held comments wait for you rather than appearing. Review them under Settings and privacy, Privacy, Comments, Review filtered comments, where you can approve or delete each one. How to turn off comments on TikTok explains the filters.
