TikTok Profile Picture Viewer

How do you see a TikTok profile picture in full size?
Type the username into the box above, with or without the @, or paste a link to the profile, and press Show picture. The picture appears square and uncropped at the largest size TikTok stores, up to 1080 × 1080 pixels. TikTok does not enlarge a photo that was uploaded smaller, so some come back at 700 or 800 pixels.
Download HD picture saves it as a JPEG named after the account. Open full size shows it in a new tab at its real pixel size.
Giveaway hosts use it to check a winner drawn with the TikTok comment picker before announcing: the full-size picture and the follower and video counts say quickly whether it is a real person or a throwaway account.
Does the account owner know you looked?
No. The lookup is made by this site's server, not by your TikTok account, so it does not appear in anyone's profile views and your browser never contacts TikTok at all. Nothing about you is passed on, and nothing about the lookup is stored.
Can you see the profile picture of a private account?
Yes. TikTok says a private account's name, username and profile photo are always visible to anyone, on or off TikTok; it is the videos that are hidden. The viewer shows the picture and says that the account is private.
Why does it show no picture?
Usually because the account has never set one and is using TikTok's default placeholder, or because the username is wrong. An account that has set a profile video instead of a photo can also come back without a usable picture. A username that no account uses gets a clear "no account" message rather than an empty frame. Usernames change, too: if someone renamed their account, the old one stops working. If you are not sure of the exact handle, search by their name in the TikTok username finder.
How do you change your TikTok profile picture?
In the TikTok app, per TikTok's profile photo help page:
- Tap Profile, then Edit profile.
- Tap Change photo, then Take photo or Upload photo.
- Crop it and tap Save.
- On a computer: tiktok.com, your profile picture, View profile, Edit profile, then click your current photo. It cannot be changed from a phone's browser.
- The minimum size is 20 × 20 pixels, but a square photo of at least 1080 × 1080 is what keeps it sharp when someone views it full size here.
What can you do with someone else's profile picture?
Look at it. A profile picture is somebody's photo, and often of their face: being able to download it does not make it yours to reuse. Downloading your own, or a brand's for a press piece with permission, is what the button is for.
