Terms of Service

These terms cover the use of TikCommentPicker. Using the tool means accepting them; the short of it is that the tool is free for videos up to 500 comments, paid beyond that, provided as-is, and that the giveaway itself remains entirely yours to run.

What the service is

TikCommentPicker reads the public comments on a public TikTok video and draws a random winner from the entries that satisfy the rules you set. Alongside it are a few free tools that read other public TikTok data: a comment viewer and exporter, a transcript generator, a best-time-to-post checker, a follower counter, a profile picture viewer and a username finder. The tools are free and require no account. The picker is free for videos with up to 500 comments, with no limit on how many draws you run; bigger videos need a Draw Pass or Pro, described on the pricing page.

It is offered as-is. There is no service level, no uptime commitment, and no guarantee that it will still exist tomorrow in its present form or at all.

Acceptable use

The picker is meant for running giveaways on videos you are entitled to run a giveaway on, and the other tools for reading public TikTok data for your own legitimate purposes. A few things are out of bounds:

  • Do not use it on content you have no right to run a promotion for.
  • Do not attempt to defeat, script around, or distribute load in order to evade the rate limits.
  • Do not use it in any way that breaks TikTok's own terms, or the law that applies to you.
  • Do not present its results as an official TikTok determination. They are not.
  • Do not use exported comments, usernames or profile pictures to harass anyone, to send unsolicited messages in bulk, or to build lists of people to contact.
  • Do not reuse someone else's profile picture as your own, or in a way their rights do not allow.

The giveaway is yours

This is the clause that matters most. You are the promoter of your giveaway, and this tool is only the instrument that picks a name. Everything else is yours: whether the promotion is lawful where you and your entrants are, whether it complies with TikTok's promotion rules, what the terms of entry are, whether a prize is delivered, and how any dispute with an entrant is resolved.

Rules for contests, sweepstakes and prize draws differ sharply between countries and some require registration, bonding, or specific published terms. Nothing on this site is legal advice, and a random draw being fair is not the same thing as a promotion being legal.

What the tool can and cannot see

Only comments that are already public are read, and only on videos that are public at the time you run the draw. A free read covers videos with up to 500 comments by TikTok's count; a pass covers the video it was bought for, and Pro covers videos up to its monthly allowance. Where a read could not cover the whole video, the result says so. Replies to comments are not entries.

Comment data reflects the moment of fetching. Comments deleted, edited or posted afterwards are not reflected in a draw that has already run.

Passes and Pro

Payments are taken by Stripe as the seller of record, so your purchase is made from Stripe and its checkout terms apply to the payment itself, including tax and receipts.

A Draw Pass is for one video, sized by the comment count TikTok showed for it when you bought it. It reads that video for draws for 30 days. It is used up by being delivered: a read that ran is a read that was provided.

Pro renews automatically, monthly or yearly, until you cancel. Cancelling from your account page stops the next renewal; Pro stays on until the end of the period already paid for. Its monthly allowance of comments read does not carry over from one month to the next.

Prices may change. A change never applies to a period you have already paid for, and Pro subscribers are told before a new price reaches their renewal.

Refunds are as below. To ask for one, write to support@stelvy.com from the email on your account. Nothing here limits a right to cancel or to a refund that the law where you live gives you.

  • Draw Pass: if a pass could not read its video (the video went private or was removed, or the read failed) and no draw was run with it, ask within 14 days for a full refund.
  • Pro: your first payment is refundable in full if you ask within 7 days of it and no draw has been run with Pro on a video over 500 comments. After that, cancelling stops the next renewal and Pro runs to the end of the period you paid for; part-periods are not refunded.

No affiliation with TikTok

TikCommentPicker is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok or ByteDance Ltd. TikTok is a trademark of its owner; it is referred to here only to describe what the tool works with.

No warranty

The tool is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or availability. The draw is designed to be fair and reproducible, and it is described openly enough to be checked, but no promise is made that it will be free of errors or interruption.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, no liability is accepted for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising out of using the tool, including a disputed giveaway, an unhappy entrant, a prize awarded to the wrong person, a draw run on an incomplete comment pool, or the tool being unavailable when you needed it.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Changes to these terms

These terms may change. When they do, the date at the top of this page moves, and continuing to use the tool after that means accepting the revised terms.
